The Past is past....

I have been depressed, about how things have turned out, where I'm at.
I can't fully explain it...but I've got some faith back.
I may not be the smartest, most handsome, or even gifted kid.
But I have faith...and that is something that will take me into the future.

Post Otakon Update:
(Gonna synopsize things, as others have put it in full detail.)
Bum in Train Station: Funny dude, but god, if that sonbitch could get a college degree, I should be a friggin brain surgeon by now!
Whore on Train: Was two seconds away from telling her to piss off, but Keith saved the day (Keith gets endless respect for his contribution.) Stole her booze, had a funny story for the water cooler at work.
Yoshiki/ME Bitch- WOULD NOT SHUT THE FUCK UP. WANTED TO TELL HER TO SHUT THE FUCK UP. NEEDED PUNCH TO THE SIDE OF HEAD.
Train ride overall was okay, but after 8 hours, GAH, WANTED TO KILL A SMALL FURRY CRITTER. Couped up and I couldn't sleep...ugh.
Got to Convention Center, was verbally served by three black kids, one of which said I was "More Gangsta than him" HILARIOUS...at least to me.
Went INSANE in line waiting to register, ask the crew, I went off on a tangent!
Got some sleep finally.
THE DEALER'S ROOM IS HEAVENLY...An Otaku's wet dream, shit u don't need, shit u won't use, and shit that was quite useful was abound! I picked up the Naruto Uncut Box Set 1, Galaxy Angel 1st Season, Gun X Sword, got several cool shirts and stuff from the Megatokyo booth, and the next four manga of Evangelion!
Food Availability, nutritional content and price all SUCKED ASS. Nothing really to enjoy, except those delightful Krispy Kreme Donuts! Plus, I didn't really try to eat healthy, kind of a last hurrah of sorts.
Keith and I got skunked out waiting for Autographs from Kouta Hirano (Hellsing Creator) BLUE TICKETS MY TINY WHITE COCK. Got Kouta's ass back, during his fan panel, they gave shit away to 9 people who beat Kouta in Rock, Paper, Scissors. I was in the top 9. I won this little card thingy that looks like some rail card gimmick, point is I GOT HIM BACK!!! TAKE THAT OTAKON STAFF WITH TICKETS AND VOLUME 8, LAP MY TINY WHITE COCK!
(That feels good, fuck them and their shiny asses.)
Saw the World Premiere of Hellsing Ultimate Dub...we had the balls to heckle it, though being total fanboys at the same time. HENKL MOTHERFUCKER!!!! CROSSFIRE!!!!
Saw a good panel on Japanese "Strong Style" Wrestling, marked out heavily, Keith made fun of me, meh, it was cool to me!
Nick and Co. had a party, watched the sillyness ensue, offered booze, said no, because I was getting a kick out of the proceedings.
Slept some more.
Rode in a taxi for the first time EVER. Was pretty freakin' cool.
Cramped ride back, saw NYC, thought it was the most beautiful city I have seen this side of Boston.
Keith and I cashed out (slept) while everyone went to the club car.
Kathy's parents, while nice people, shouldn't have taken the fucking scenic route home.
There. Done. All my thoughts on the weekend. Read other peoples thoughts, seemed like some folks didn't enjoy Otakon to its fullest, but hey, no big deal, look at it this way, IT WAS TONS BETTER THAN ANIME BOSTON.
Other things not Otakon Related:
Getting done work in two weeks time, heading back to higher edumacation. Wish me luck!
Have other stuff on my plate as well, but they are still in the planning stages, not much to speak of.

This will not be a long post, as I don't know if I have it in me right now. I just wanted to say a few words about my furry little brother.
I always laugh when people say that they don't consider pets to be family, simply because they aren't human. Pets are unconditional friends, ones who won't ridicule you for what you wear, how you act, or who you are. Pets will love you for no other reason than a pat on the head, a scratch under the chin, or if you play games with them.
Today, I didn't lose some dumb animal, I lost one of my best friends, I lost my little brother, I lost a little part of me.
Over the past few days, we watched him slowly go downhill, to the point where he couldn't even pick his head up to drink water from his bucket, my mother stayed up with him, because I think he was afraid, if you were here, and you heard him cry out last night, I swear, it would have broken your heart.
Gone was the cat I used to sit outside with on summer's day in the sunshine, the cat who used to run into snow banks in the winter, all that was left was a tired and old man who had lived a long life, one who realized his time was up, but loved us so much that he couldn't give up living.
Tonight, my parents took him to the vet, and he was finally put to rest. No more suffering, just peace.
When they got home, something was said of Marty, and that rings truer than anything I have said.
God needed a cat, so he went out and got the best.
So to my little brother, my best friend, my lil buddy...I love you with all my heart and miss you more than words can say. Thank you, and I hope I can see you again someday. |

Eddie Guerrero 1967-2005
I find that this picture is the best indication of what Eddie Guerrero was, I've seen too many solemn pics of him on too many websites. Though I didn't know the man, I truly feel he was having the time of his life in the ring over the past few years, and given the accounts of the turnaround in his personal life, he was enjoying his time away from it more. I watched Smackdown this past week, and I was in stitches with laughter of his work with Ken Kennedy. I know the peeps aren't big wrestling fans, at least not as much as me, but this guy was everything good about Professional Wrestling. He worked his ass off and he proved to everyone, if you bust your ass, you will be rewarded for it. I'm just sorry to see him not get to watch his children grow up and leaving his wife in this way.
With all the stuff that has gone on in the last few days, its a damn shame that this tragedy has to put things into proper perspective for me. Fighting over things people said months ago is stupid, and if you're mad at my opinion, you're all the dumber for it. I care about all my friends, some of you are my extended family, so I don't need to name names. If you are ever mad about something that's such a big deal, look at the pic at the top of this entry, and think, is it worth getting bent out of shape after all?

For a change, I have nothing to do! wOOt, think I'll take it easy and just relax, as everyone but me is going to the seminar tomorrow, as I am shit broke. Money Probs, but it comes with living single with the peeps. I find that weekends free of obligations are hard to come by these days. If its not one thing, its another. If I don't have to act as a taxi for people, then Damian has something going on, the girls and keith wanna hang, and so forth. Good to take a breath and go OOF! Mind you, this is not bad bitching, I am thankful for every one of my friends, just wish I could go home and see my two best friends. Now it looks like thats a no go for at least another couple weeks. *Sigh* Living far from home sucks. The crew around here for the most part is living with their parents or are within short driving distance of them. I think I'll call them tomorrow early and have a chat with them. Work wasn't too bad this week though Sharon, the first shift team leader can go eat a dick, the fuckin' uppity bitch. Long Story, one that's not worth the time. After much time, Malcolm debuts his first game this next weekend. I am actually excited, to be quite honest, I almost quit at the end of the last game, just due to seeing all the petty shit go down. Now I have a goofy new character and it will rock to try to go the opposite way of the Uber Powerful Asshole Sarin. My body is kind of on fleh mode this week, as I was dead dog tired all week, though I got about 7 hours of sleep a night. I think Lydall is finally taking it out of my soul, must get free! Every time a week goes by these days, I get a little more fleh about the world and my dreams involving my future. Just a little depressing is all, though if I don't like things, why not change them? WHERE IS THE GODDAMN JUSTICE IN THIS?! As the heading says, this is The Last Straw! Lydall opened up a wound, they picked at it and picked at it...Now...I strike back. First on K!'s agenda: NEW JOB. No, before you get any ideas I do not want to work in another factory, regardless of the friends I have there and the fun we would have. I want to do something, anything but more factory work. Well, just thought I'd cap off today with an update...
Went and saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory again today, funny as the first time! Went on two walks, one on little stevens, then we did another going towards the college. As we were walking around, we stopped off at the computer lab, as I was sitting there, bored, I decided to go back outside, I got out there and got a sudden burst of nostalgia of my days at the college, that's when I looked over at the old dorms, then the new ones. That's when it hit me, this is not the school I remember, where I spent all those fun days hanging out with my friends in the dorms, where I spent my time with friends I thought I would have forever...Funny how a few years change your perspective. Most of my friends have gone their own seperate ways after college, some marrying/divorcing, moving away and losing touch. I can't help but think I could still get those friendships back, but then I thought about something. They all have their own lives now, they are doing their own thing. That's when I got kind of bummed, because I looked back on those days and realize that they are now nothing more than a memory. I saw Keith, Kathy and Keri running around and thought to myself (It's their time now) That hurt quite a bit, realizing that, although there is but a few years difference between us, it's their college now. I kept walking but I got to thinking of the past and all those fun times...It bummed me out further.
Keith picked up on it, as well as the girls, but I said I was fine. The girls went ahead, and Keith asked me again, "Memories" is all I had for him. He mistook what I said for something else, but I explained a little bit to him, then he was on the same wavelength. It has stayed with me, these thoughts, even after they left. Eh, take it for what it's worth I guess. Just something that has been holding in my mind for a while, it just didn't hit me til tonight.
Enough on that though...
As far as this big event Myz! wants us down for, I continue to remain optimistic. I have already rethought my wardrobe, my music and my move-set. Archer is gonna be a stiff hitting, fast as all hell, submission locking son of a bitch! My peeps out there, I know what you must be thinking...Its just another stupid wrestling event. I look at my award for Best Wrestler of 2002, and I take pride in it, as my peers thought highly enough to vote me in for that, and that's saying a lot. I look at this as a ressurection of not just a character...but my way of life. I wanna push myself to the limit one more time and if I can handle it and enjoy it, I'll definitely do my damnedest about going pro. If not, oh well, could always be a bodybuilder! :) Hold on, "He wants to speak"
Archer- Two years ago, I put my tights into storage, telling myself that it would be the last time would ever wear them. I have come to realize something...Its not time yet. Not time for Archer to put a large part of himself in some trunk and leave it in some attic somewhere...I have more to do. Two years ago, I made a decision to walk away, now I'm gonna come back, because it is my decision. Is it for just this once? We'll see. But I'll be damned if I just walk away, wondering what if I had? At the end of August, Archer will silence the biggest critic of all, himself. I will do so by putting on the greatest matches of my career...Finished? Just warming up. End of August, Archer takes on anyone in his way. Who's first?
